The School of Robotics, thanks to the funding by Costa Crociere Foundation is starting a project where the plastics recovered frtom the sea and the beaches will be used to produce the spools for 3D printers. These will procude in turn educational kits inspired by the protection of the ocean. Read more

The Second face-to-face Meeting of the SlideWiki project takes place at Open University in Luton, on 9and 10th of June, 2016. SlideWiki EU Project is a Large-scale pilots for collaborative OpenCourseWare authoring, multiplatform delivery and Learning Analytics. See at https://slidewiki.eu. School of Robotics is participanting in some of the campaign events devoted to celebrate the International Women's Day. We are giving prominence to the issue of the under representation of women in the tecno scientific professions and careers. Since the entering into the EC Roberta - Girls discover robots - project, School of Robotics is developing a specifici method to support girls in STEM using robotics kits. Read more

School of Robotics is partner in the WOW! project, co- financed by Erasmus Programme. This project’s aim is to connect with the European Union Initiative - Agenda for new skills and jobs. From March 14 through 19 all the partners will be guested by the Chile partner in a 5 days international meeting devoted to develop WOW! Learning Scenarios. Read more

Forty-five teams applied to the NAO Challenge Italia 2016 Final Contest (May 7th 2016, Bologna). The NAO Challenge is organized by Aldebaran, the School of RObotics (NAO Challenge Ambassador), by Fondazione Golinelli, and Media Direct Campustore. These teams are coming from many Italian Regions (Piemonte, Liguria, Lombardia, Veneto, Toscana, Emilia, Marche, Abruzzo, and Campania). and are representing several high school (Technical, High Schools).
