KUKA Robotics is a pioneering company in the fields of robotics, control technology, and automation of industrial production processes: with more than 5,700 employees Kuka generates business volume of around EUR 900 million. The robotics business unit develops, produces and markets industrial robots, robot-related services and controllers for large sections of the metalworking, plastics, electrical and electronics industries. Kuka robots are also employed in medicine, where image-guided, robot-supported precision radiation opens up entirely new methods of treatment.
Since 2008, Kuka Roboter Italia and the School of Robotics are working together with the common aim of promoting educational robotics in the Italian educational system.
