TOUCH is a project co-funded by Compagnia di San Paolo aimed to design and - by 3D priting - manufacture new "tactile" museum itineraries to be inclusive for people with visual impairment. Read more
The School of Robotics, thanks to the funding by Costa Crociere Foundation is starting a project where the plastics recovered frtom the sea and the beaches will be used to produce the spools for 3D printers. These will procude in turn educational kits inspired by the protection of the ocean. Read more

MadLab Genoa is a rich, funny, and a very useful enterprise located, as it is, in a difficult neighborhood. In fact, the center of Genoa is the widest medieval borough of all Europe, and it is almost intact. But, precisely these interesting characteristic make Genoa "caruggi" (a maze of backstreets and alleyways) an underdeveloped area. The Genoa Municipality s just trying to intervene, supporting young people business enterprise downtown. MadLab is one of them, opened up thanks to a consortium comprised of the same Municipality, Festival della Scirenza, Cooperativa Il Laboratorio, and the School of Robotics. The main aim is to teach about 3D printing. This project is co-financed by Compagnia di San Paolo. Read more
The School of Robotics is partner in a new Erasmus Plus European project called WOW. This project’s aim is to connect with the European Union Initiative - Agenda for new skills and jobs. The first transnational meeting takes place in Genoa, Italy, 26th and 27th of November 2015. Read more
MadLab is going to be the first Fablab opnening in the Genoa old town center. It is managed by the Cooperativa IlLaboratorio, the Genoa Science Festival and the School of Robotics. The MadLab vernissage is scheduled on October 10th 2015 at 3 pm. Visitors could be watching 3D printers at work and apply for MadLab free training courses. Read more
