Costa Crociere Foundation has selected School of Robotics project "Ocean 3d (Il Mare in 3D, The Sea in 3D) as the only proposal devoted to environmental aims. Ocean 3D promotes a circular economy program based on the reuse of plastics fished out from the Lugurian Sea. Read more
The School of Robotics, thanks to the funding by Costa Crociere Foundation is starting a project where the plastics recovered frtom the sea and the beaches will be used to produce the spools for 3D printers. These will procude in turn educational kits inspired by the protection of the ocean. Read more
A new course of underwater robotics: The Robots of the Ocean. The course takes place on the Arco89 Diving Center barge, moored at Genoa Old Port Wet Basin. Participants (8 - 10 years of age) will learn how to design and built a small underwater robots; how to control it at sea; and how to monitor by it the water and the seafloor . The participants' artifacts will be showed at the Duilio Marcante Award Events in 2016. Read more
