Un altro successo per Scuola di Robotica e il suo staff, nell'ambito del convegno Women and Technologies 2008 tenutosi a Milano Fiorella Operto ha presentato il progetto "Roberta - le ragazze scoprono la robotica". Grazie all'importanza delle attività svolte Fiorella Operto ha vinto il premio BlacBerry Award 2008.
