INTERNATIONAL INTERACTIVE ROBOTICS PROGRAM: "MISSION TO MARS"

Istituto Comprensivo "B.Lorenzi" – Fumane – ITALY
Walworth Barbour American International School – Even Yehuda – ISRAEL
Space Camp Turkey – Izmir - TURKEY

Robotics, spatial education and global friendship, all together on February 23rd, in an international project "Mission to Mars".

Students of the "B. Lorenzi" School (Fumane - Italy) are collaborating in an interactive robotics session on webconference with some students from Walworth Barbour American International School (Even Yehuda, Israel), hosted at Space Camp Turkey of Izmir.
Students from Israel and Italy worked on two parallel scientific sessions, building and programming some NXT robots which had to search for evidence of water on the "Mars surface".
Educational robotics and spatial exploration are the tools that will allow students to meet themselves and share, through an interactive webconference, successes and difficulties related to building and programming robots.
