The Italian city of Cremona dedicateds an extraordinary exhibit to its fellow citizen Janello Torriani. Less famous than Leonardo da Vinci, Janello Torrian was not less ingenious in inventing and manufacturing all kind of mechanisms. The exhibit displays many of Torriani'inventions. Read more
At Trent Nottingham University EDUROB European project partners are going to test the customised interface for robotic driven interaction for SEN students (Speciual Needs Education). The interface is commanding two robotics platforms: The NAO humanoid robot, and the Lego EV3 Mindstorm. It is equipped with Learning Scenarios, designed following two years of studies and survey condicted with hundreds of support teachers in the partners'Nations. Read more

School of Robotics Emanueel Micheli is going to give a talk at the Erickson Conference on "The Quality of School inclusion". Micheli will present some case studies where the use of robotics kit and of the humanoid robot NAO have improved the learning abilities of SEN students. A very interesting Call is open addressed to students of high schools. The mission is to design (on paper, power point, cad, Lego brick, anything) a robot that could support the recyicling of urand wastes. MadLab is going to be the first Fablab opnening in the Genoa old town center. It is managed by the Cooperativa IlLaboratorio, the Genoa Science Festival and the School of Robotics. The MadLab vernissage is scheduled on October 10th 2015 at 3 pm. Visitors could be watching 3D printers at work and apply for MadLab free training courses. Read more
