In 2009 School of Robotics and Tiepolo Middle School won a Ministry of Education’s call “ Scuola Aperte” . Thanks to this founding the partners organized a first training course for teachers. A year from the first course, the Tiepolo School has organized a second training course for its teachers, calling the School of Robotics as Scientific partner. Read more
The project "Scienza Ludica" was created by the vocational institute "Fedi" in Pistoia, Tuscany. School of Robotics was the coordinator of the teachers training course. The opening day is an important event to present the laboratory to students and teachers. Read more
Educational robotics laboratories for children at Genoa Science Festival! School of Robotics organizes one-hour modules about robots, for schools classes and kids. Everyone can understand some elements about sensors, software, programming, and robot's behaviour. Read more
Two weeks ago the course on robotics for the International School in Genoa was began. Here robotics is emploied both for teaching student science and technology and to improve their communication skill. Read more
The Summer school is organized by the Agorà Social Consortium and by the School of Robotics, and goes on until September 17th (last lesson). In the previous lessons students have builded robots using the Lego NXT and WeDo kits, and also employing some parts of the Roomba vacuum clear robots, programmed with NXT-G. Read more
In July 2010, some collaborators to the School of Robotics have hold Educational robotics' laboratories for autistic children at the center "LPhilos" in Genoa, Italy. The success of these sessions brought through a more structured project on autism and educational robotics. It is going to start in September, 2010. Read more
