On the Walkirye: A floating School
Walkirye is a vessel where young Niky Francisco and his family live. Niky, 15 years old, can live only on the sea, due to a very severe form of asthma. Despite his condition, Niky follow school lesson via videoconference. School of Robotics' Emanuele Micheli went to the Walkirye to work, with Niky and his schoolmates in Salerno, on the robots programming. Read more

AGNSA is an Italian nonprofit organization for Autism and Asperger education, support, and solutions. ANGSA Liguria and the School of Robotics are working together to investigate the benefits of educational robotics in autism. Stara Zagora (Bulgaria), 22-24 of September, 2011. During the international conference on "The Key Competencies in Education. In the frame of the "Lombardia eccellente" campaign (Excellence in Lombardy) promoted by Italian CSFU-UCIMU (the UCIMU's consortium for educational projects) and by the Polo della Meccanica (the Group of Mechanical Industries) , the organizers offer free courses on educational robotics.
