"Excellence in Lombardy" : Free Basic Course on Educational robotics for teachers.
Reading time: 0.5 minutesIn the frame of the "Lombardia eccellente" campaign (Excellence in Lombardy) promoted by Italian CSFU-UCIMU (the UCIMU's consortium for educational projects) and by the Polo della Meccanica (the Group of Mechanical Industries) , the organizers offer free courses on educational robotics. These will be hold by School of Robotics' teachers (medium and high schools).
The Free Basic Course on educational robotics promoted by CSU-UCIMU and by Polo della Meccanica will be held in Cinisello Balsamo (Milan outskirts), at the CSFU’ Lecture Hall, viale Fulvio Testi 128 a.
It will last 12 hours, developing the following subjects:
- Building and programming Lego NXT
- How to employ educational robots in schools
- Elements of Computer Science; LabVIEW; sensors.
A the end of the course, the participants will be able to build, program and employ Lego NXt for educational purposes.
- Four sessions, of 4 hours each, from 2:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m.
- Monday, September 26; Monday, October 3rd; Monday, October 17; Monday, October 24, 2011
- Prerequisite: none. For teachers of medium and high schools only.
- Robot employed: Lego NXT
