In 2009 School of Robotics and Tiepolo Middle School won a Ministry of Education’s call “ Scuola Aperte” . Thanks to this founding the partners organized a first training course for teachers. A year from the first course, the Tiepolo School has organized a second training course for its teachers, calling the School of Robotics as Scientific partner. Read more
The project "Scienza Ludica" was created by the vocational institute "Fedi" in Pistoia, Tuscany. School of Robotics was the coordinator of the teachers training course. The opening day is an important event to present the laboratory to students and teachers. Read more

Maurizo Garbati is a Professor of Technology in an Italian middle school. He is one of the first teacher who introduced in Italy microrobotics as technological tool, and wrote a first book, "Laboratorio di Microrobotica". Now, in this new manual, "Robotica Educativa" (Boopen Publisher), which embraces his - and his students' - experiences over the last five years, he works especially on the educational value of the interaction robot-environment. In July 2010, some collaborators to the School of Robotics have hold Educational robotics' laboratories for autistic children at the center "LPhilos" in Genoa, Italy. The success of these sessions brought through a more structured project on autism and educational robotics. It is going to start in September, 2010. Read more
