Provest Service and School of Robotics organize one day introduction to 3D Printing. The course is sponsored by AITA - Associazione Italiana Tecnologie Additive. 3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes. In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the entire object is created. Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced horizontal cross-section of the eventual object. Read more

Genova, Savona: New robotics classes for students of the School of Building

The School of Robotics and the Scuola Edile (School of Building of Genoa and Savona) have agreed to start a project of some hours of classes of robotics for teachers and students of the School of Building. Participants are going to work on some robotics kit (Lego EV3 and BYOR) to test and improve STEM concepts and logical reasoning. Read more

The National Network of Educational Robotics - whose Leading Manager is the San Giorgio Nauticial School of Genoa - helds the last course devoted to robotics for education. The Network participants are several schools of primary and secondary education interested to use robots supporting STEM education.
