Bet She Can
Bet She Can Foundation (http://www.betshecan.com/en/) was founded on October 10th, 2014 with the aim of offering preteen girls beween the ages of 8 to 12 years old. The foundation will provide the tools and means to develop personal awareness. By helping them reach their own potential. It also intends to raise awareness of this issue by motivating their families, influence national and international institutions and cause a change of context through social models and there mentality.
Why girls? Women in Italy and Europe have been held back for centuries. Although they can benefit today from a context of strong growth and high living standards. There is a low female participation in social life. With a marked disparity of functions and positions in the world of work, politics and generally in the organization of family and or married life. The focusing of empowering actions on future generations can have a major impact. This could trigger a “chain reaction” that involves not only the individual, but her family and the community.
The Bet She Can Foundation gained official recognition from the Italian State on January 23, 2015.
Activities
The Foundation continues to build structures, innovative, effective and efficient projects for preteen's empowerment. Projects are based on the experience gained by local associations and other partners. Also the foundation plans to expand at a international level. We will begin to raise funds to finance the selected projects. They also identified associations or other qualified partners.In the future the partners will be also be identified through specific tenders. They will receive the raised funds and implement specific projects. Monitors the implemented projects, and communicates the results achieved and activities carried out through the financed projects. We will communicate these results and its activities. Feedback towards the donors with particular attention to the development of new opportunities, networking and by word of mouth. Fund researchers, data collections, studies, and publications.
Collects know how, expertise and experience on the subject with the aim of becoming a reference for institutions and operators at a national and European level.The foundation has the goal of becoming a reference for instituions, operators at a nation level as well as European levels.
