Ancona, 20-22 November 2019: FabLearn Italy 2019
Organized by the Polytechnic University of Marche (Ancona), FabLearn Italy 2019 integrates the principles of Making and Educational Robotics in formal, non-formal and informal teaching.

Lectures, scientific presentations, posters and workshops will discuss the latest results on the introduction of digital manufacturing and robotics in education, on assistive robotics for education, on "maker" culture, on hands-on learning and on the innovation of spaces for learning environments, to deepen how innovative educational tools and methodologies are able to support a more current, inclusive and effective teaching, in which students become the protagonists of the learning process.
Scuola di Robotica will be present with a talk by Fiorella Operto on Roboetics.
The FabLearn Conferences bring together influencers and opinion leaders from around the world in the fields of education, policy-making, academia, design, research and producer communities to learn, present and discuss digital manufacturing in education, producer culture, practical learning and teaching tools.
FabLearn Italy is associated with the worldwide FabLearn initiative, which supports the dissemination of the principles of constructionism in learning and is based on the work of Paulo Blikstein, Associate Professor at Columbia University, and the Transformative Learning Technologies Lab (TLTL).
The second edition of FabLearn Italy is organized this year as part of the collaboration between INDIRE and the Polytechnic University of Marche, and funded by the PON "For School" 2014-2020 Project Coding and Robotics (Project Code 10.2.7.A2-FSEPON-INDIRE-2017-1 - CUP: B59B1700000000006).
The conference will take place at the Polytechnic University of Marche (Ancona) from 20 to 22 November 2019. Researchers and professionals from all over the world are invited to present their contributions... Participation is free!
The conference proceedings will be published in open access and reviewed for inclusion on Scopus. All accepted contributions will be included in the virtual public gallery on the conference website, feeding our database of innovative projects on Didactics and Technologies. Extended versions of the best short-papers will be invited to be published in a special issue.
This year FabLearn Italy will be joined as a related event by the DRONE-WEEK MARK, a national event that includes workshops for secondary school students on drones technologies, drones FPV exhibition and professional competitions between pilots.
