Strange relationship between humans and machines
Theatrical play about the Artificial Intelligence born from the “Ogeima Story – Linguaggi umani, macchine, rappresentazioni” project, sponsored and realised by Fondazione ECM, from the theatrical company Faber Theater and Scuola di Robotica.
Presented and realised by Fondazione Esperienze di Cultura Metropolitana di Settimo Torinese in collaboration with Faber Theater and Scuola di Robotica, the theatrical play “Human but not too much” is the final result of the Ogeima Story project, produced with the help of Compagnia di San Paolo in the “ORA! Linguaggi Contemporanei_produzioni innovative”.
Central themes of the theatrical path are the relationship between men and technologies, men and machines, the expectations of human beings with respect to the progressive spread of robots and the ethical implications connected to it. To narrate the complexity of this relationship, human beings and robots will be present on the scene in a mutual relationship of dialogue and sharing of languages, spaces and communicative codes.
The theatrical play went hand in hand with participatory experiences that involved young people and adults in reflection and research on the perceived impacts of the spread of emerging technologies in everyday life in terms of both risks and opportunities.
The performance will be staged by the Piedmontese theatre company Faber Teater directed by Gianni Bissaca and images and films by Diego Diaz Morales. Starring Sebastiano Amadio, Marco Andorno and Nao, the small humanoid robot programmed by Andrea Germinario, the show will be attended by Stefania Operto. Robots and machines were made available by the Robotics School.
The show has already been performed in Settimo Torinese, Genova, and on 13 april 2018 it will be in Trieste.
All shows are free and free admission.
