The Yes WE STEM free ebook (Women Empowerment in STEM) released to public
Reading time: 0.5 minutesThe Italian Wister network (Women for Intelligent and Smart TERritories) has just released a free ebook outlining many "Yes WE STEM" issues in Women&Technology field. The book was edited with the support of Italian Ministry of Education, Research, and University, displaying studies by many women in the fields of communication, social sciences, science and technology.
On March 8 2016 the Italian Ministry of Education, Research, and University launched a project called "Girsl students want to be relevant. The Month of STEM".
In fact, in Italy, March 2016 saw many initiatived devoted to fight those stereotypes describing girls and women less able and interested in STEM subjects.
The Italian Wister network (Women for Intelligent and Smart TERritories) has taken the initiative to work on an ebook called "Yes WE STEM (Women Empowerment in STEM). The President of the School of Robotics, Fiorella Operto, wrote a chapter on Women and Robotics.
