Rock&Rob: Two days laboratory on robots and space robots!

ROB ROCK AND BACK IN GENOA!
The course will take place in two stages:
1) Participants will construct mini robot inspired by those who are exploring space and will be able to try them on rough terrain simulating the mars. This first part is strictly for robotics and it will be preceded by a short lesson in technical and practical experience in preparation for experiments to better understand the concepts of launching, propulsion, friction and atmosphere. (Lego Mindstorm robots will be used)
2) There will be a big competition between super colorful space rockets, during which there will be provided demonstrations and activities intended to stimulate interest and curiosity in all participants. The rockets will be built with recycled materials and assembled in accordance with the relevant rules of aerodynamics addressed at the beginning of the workshop. Artists and future aerospace engineers will explain their project and then kick off the test launch!
Each participant will have to bring along, if possible, a laptop computer on which they will install the necessary software. The activities will take place in groups, those who were able to bring a PC can use without problems for his team!
