NAO CHALLENGE 2014 in Italia: Download its Rules!
Reading time: 0.5 minutesIn the NAO Challenge, NAO helps a family to live better at home. Let’s see what you can have NAO do in the living room! All secondary classes in Denmark, France, Germany, Italy and the UK can participate, the test is the same for everyone.
There are local ambassadors in each of those 5 countries organizing the event and adapting the challenge locally. At the end, there will be 1 finalist and 1 NAO to win per country.
Under the NAO Challenge, we are offering licenses to participants. Teams do not need to have a NAO as tests can be prepared on the simulation software from September 2014 to May 2015. On the day of the finals, a robot will be made available for each finalist team.
The competition is divided into five tests. You can participate in one or several of the tests, each contribution will be taken into account.
1. PLAY WITH ME !
Imagine an interactive game where NAO plays with a human. This is an open challenge.
2. MOVIE TIME !
NAO asks questions about your taste, suggests a movie and then plays the movie on the TV.
3. LET'S PARTY !
NAO controls an RGB light & changes the colors to party ! The system is conceived by the teams.
4. SWEET & TRICKS !
NAO wants to take candy hidden in the cupboard. NAO therefore climbs on a trolley to get it.
5. ME & YOU !
Teams are rewarded for their spirit, creativity, motivation, use of social networks, videos, and so on
