Robots to BIMU "Pianeta Giovani"
Reading time: 1 minuteIn the frame of BIMU 2010 (5th-9th of October, Fieramilano, Rho, Milan) , School of Robotics introduces participants of Pianeta Giovani to the novelties and benefits of Educational Robotics. Pavillon 9.
Pianeta Giovani (A Planet for the Young) is the area inside BIMU-SFORTEC (the Italian Annual Expo of Automatic Machine Tools) where young people and students can get acquainted with the world of automatica, of the automated machines, robots and of the whole ancillary technologies. Pianeta Giovani is organized by UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, the Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machine Tools, Robots, Automation Systems and ancillary products like NC, tools, components, accessories) since 1995. 2010 Pianeta Giovani offers to hundred of students coming to Bimu to see those advanced machines they are going to produce, use, operate.
UCIMU invited Shool of Robotics to 2010 Pianeta Giovani. We will introduce participants to the world of Educational robotics, presenting the Kuka-School of Robotics Sim.Pro kit; and our Java programming for robot. Using robotics kit we will show how learning about almost every school subject can be greatly improved by robotics.
Freely accessible to visitors at the 27.BI-MU/SFORTEC, PIANETA GIOVANI proposes routes for visiting the event, a "game-space" where technologies meet creativity and competitiveness, timely information about human resource requirements in the Italian instrumental engineering sector and indications for investing in knowledge by implementing successful educational decisions.
