Roberta... in fabula: educational robotics at Lupus in Fabula

Roberta is and educational project, based on a well-designed methodology, aimed at promoting scientific curiosity and interest in girls, by employing robotics kits. At the Center Lupus in Fabula, School of Robotics will introduce the "Roberta's Training Teachers Course" to teachers, for a more structured course, planned for October, 20101.
Following the official training course, organized in Genoa by the School of Robotics,on February 2008, and run by Roberta's trainers coming from the Fraunhofer Institute in Bonn, the School of Robotics was appointed as "Regional Center" for Italy. The collaboration between the Educational Center Lupus in Fabula, bases in Genoa, and the School of Robotics aims at establising a "Roberta Club" and a "Roberta" network in Genoa. The coming Roberta Teachers Training Course is the first step towards the establisment network of "Roberta" teachers and schools in Genoa.
Characteristics of the seminar: 10 weeks, 20 hours, 2 hours a week. Kit used: Lego NXT, software: scratch, NXT - G.
