One year of activity of the Erasmus plus project partners We Are the Makers!

The We Are the Makers project! - of which Scuola di Robotica is a partner - was born from the collaboration between partners (from Germany, France, Denmark, Romania and Italy) around the humanitarian activities of the e-nable association, which internationally realizes 3D printed hands for children and boys suffering from agenesis or, in this case, the lack of an upper limb in whole in part.
The project foresees that many French, German, Romanian, Danish and Italian students, followed by teachers, learn to draw in 3D and create objects that have almost professional characteristics, so that they can then make 3D hands for children followed by and -nable France.
Together with this training, teachers and student partners of the project will develop with Arduino small intelligent objects to be connected to 3D hands so that disabled children can, thanks to these "augmented hands", interact with the environment in a better way.
