FIRST LEGO LEAGUE 2018: The Final
Reading time: 1 minuteAttendees record for the 2017-2018 FLL Final with 150 teams (1500 guys) plus 700 pupils taking part in the FLL Junior (6-9 years). This year's theme: Aqua Adventures
In Rosmini square, in Rovereto, teams were awarded trophies obtained in the 2018 Italian First Lego League, after two days of friendly duels which took place at "Palazzetto dello Sport" in Piomarta St.
The 32 teams, both scholastic and extrascholatic, counting over 300 finalists ranging from 9 to 16 years old people coming from all across the country, battled against themselves in robotics challenges and in the scientific project about water.
The 2018 Italian FLL winners are:
The first place goes to IDB TECH-NO-LOGIC from Verona (FLL 54, scholastic) which will attend the FIRSTChampionship world final in Detroit, USA, April 25-28 2018, challenging other first place teams which won their national championship.
- The second place goes to HydroPyng from Cuneo (FLL 63, extrascholastic)
- The third place goes to RobotWood 2.0 from Mogliano Veneto (TV) (FLL 36 extrascholastic)
The second and third team will attend the FLL Open Invitational in Debrecen, Hungary, May 16-19 2018.
- The fourth place goes to THE FAB TEN from Montagnana (PD) (FLL 76, scholastic)
- The fifth place goes to BIG LEO 9 from Rome (FLL 57, extrascholastic)
- The sixth place goes to PANTA REI from Bassano del Grappa (VI) (FLL 75, scholastic)
The fourth, fifth and sixth team will attend the FLL Estonian Open Internaional in Tallinn, Estonia, June 6-8 2018.
