NAO and robots visit the "Reparto Pediatrico del Policlinico di Pavia"

Everytime going to Pavia and giving smiles to the children of the Policlinico San Matteo, is a unique experience.
Together with Alessandro, and all the volunteers of the "Friends of the 4th floor", we prepared a robotics workshop in the recreation room with the Robot Nao for the children in the ward. The robot was presented to everybody, making them have fun, with various dances and shows. It's always nice to see the kids being amazed and feel a sense of admiration when Nao comes in action. After seeing a real robot, Rossella helped the children by setting their imagination in motion to draw and then create their own "robot" with recycled materials. A short workshop with the technique of stop motion shooting then approached in a discreet way, where small characters in moldable pasta animated themselves.
Unfortunately, not all the children are able to get out of their rooms to participate in the workshops, so Alessandro accompanied us together with Nao in all the patients' rooms.
