Scuola di Robotica at Festival des Jeux in Cannes

23-25 february 2018 Scuola di Robotica will be in Cannes to participate at “Festival des Jeux” where it will show “Humanoid festival”, the new European contest dedicated to humanoid robotics and organized by Scuola di Robotica. What will exactly happen?
Friday 23rd february Scuola di Robotica will show the audience workshops dedicated to teachers and students interested in discovering humanoid robots and the challenges of the humanoid festival.
The workshops will be focused on various robots and their software. Pepper, Nao and Sanbot are only a few of the robots engineered to introduce people to robotics competitive exams in education and to let the audience take part in programming humanoid robots.
The first workshop will be dedicated to “Humanoids Actor Studio” in which participants will create 3 groups using various humanoid robot to recreate famous film scenes, learning how to make them move and speak.
The second workshop will cover the “Humanoids for elderly people”. In this workshop we will try to figure out how robots can be used to favour an active aging and to analyse their possible applications in real world situations: home, hospitals, retirement houses and shopping malls.
Participants will be assigned to 3 different groups and wll work with various robots.
The “Festival des Jeux” is a global event in which games are the protagonists, from board game to videogame to sofisticated simulation games, including trading card games and many more!
